Bigfoot learning...

Today is the first day of our Bigfoot learning how to ride a bike and what type of shoe's you wear like if its closed toes or opened toes and what type of helmet you are going to wear like if it is a horse riding helmet or a motorbike helmet,we also learnt how to check if our bike is safe to ride by checking your wheels to see if your wheels are pumped if your wheels aren't pumped  you will have to pump your wheels up or you will be riding around with a flat wheel all day.

What we did for Cybersmart ??

Today we learnt about how to use words in our comment to make it a  quality comment so we did words that describes what they are feeling, like for  our example  we wrote words to describe what we thought about the inside out movie and we came up with words like  :  Emotional ,Intelligent, heartfelt Challenging ,imaginative crazy and hilarious, and those are some the words that the students in the room 9 have used.

Making paper mache is fun and hard, the fun part is when me and Madina were helping each other because that's what best friend's do with each other,the hard part was trying to glue the newspaper onto our bottle to make it  stand.

Duffy Assembly YAY!!

We finally got to get our duffy books we ordered and we also had a special guest her name is Georgia Hale, she is a kiwi fern rugby player.She loves sports because she used to play netball,touch and her dream that she knew that will come true rugby.

Room 9's film festival preparation

My filming group are writing about Earthquakes, we are writing
 about how Earthquakes can make a big different to city/town in New Zealand. We are talking about how city's/towns in the south Island and north Island get them.

I noted that this maths game is teaching us how to add and subtracted and times and divide numbers or add and subtracted numbers to the answers.

I learnt to use other maths  symbols for a maths question like for example 2 x 4=8 or 8 divide by 2=4

The most special thing about my culture is??

The most special thing about my family's culture is that we know how to speak it and that we know how to cook our culture's type of food,  like a type of food is fry bread or boilup.

finally I can take my Chromebook home.

I felt so shy sharing my Kawa of Care slide deck with my mum  last night,

after I finish sharing my Kawa of Care with my mum I got to share 

what  I  have been learning for the last two and a half  terms.

I know I was every shy at the start but now I
am every glad to take my Chromebook home with me.
After I left school with my Chromebook I felt  as happy as 
a big cuddle panda, but I just put my Chromebook on charge for school tomorrow 
and went to bed so I can wake up at 7:00  in the morning  so I can take
my Chromebook off charge and put it safely into my bag 
I have got give'n last night.
I am thankful for Ms Ly letting me take my Chromebook home.

Book day and mufti day !!

Tomorrow is Friday the 4th of August and it is book day and mufti also this is know normal

mufti day like other mufti days we have to dress up like  a book  character like from the magic school bus or the wizard of oz.

Last day of Volleyball ):

This was the last day of Volleyball and it was cool but i felt sad because we don't

have  anymore  volleyball 😖😖😖 but the games we played was helpful for the
kids in our class that dreams of themselves a master of volleyball

 We asked  Raywin Tumaki to make our kapa haka uniforms  but she changed her mind and took our money and ran away with two thousand dollars  dollars,and a few day before we just fundraised  three  in a half thousand.

This is the school hall deck where the whole school come's to for assembly's every Friday mornings. I sometimes go here with my best friend  at morning tea and lunch time or just at lunch. During the year  2000 two new classrooms were built as well as been repairing the hall ever since 1999, and in 2005.

Kia ora, Kia orana and hi, my name is Angel and I am maori, tongan, samoan and welsh. I am 13 years old, I have 5 members in my family including me.I am an indoors person. I like to play some sports but not all. I go to Glen Taylor School.

I love cooking my favourite thing to cook is chicken fettuccine, I also love playing rugby,touch and tag with my brothers and other family members. I am good at maths and I enjoy doing times tables and division.

I like to  read in my spare time. My favourite book is the  harry potter books . My favourite part in one of the books that were made is when the fire phoenix brustes up in flames then gets reborn from its ashes. I like writing thing that catch my eye and that is interesting to write about.

I am looking forward to culture festival because then I can make new memories for this year. Someone who inspires me is Mrs Founa  because she is a person that i look up to and she lets us talk to her if something is troubling us.
